ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
We are Jordi Hans Design, an award-winning design consultancy located at Science Park across from Jonkoping University. We offer interior and exterior designs for companies, including many local businesses in Jonkoping such as La Locandiera restaurant, the JSA student pub at the university and the showroom for Nilssons Glas & Aluminum AB. We also have several product designs, like our Mink Caravan in collaboration with Avis Car Rental in Iceland and the revolutionary cargo bike design SideBuddy.
Our team members are a mix of international and Swedish people who all collaborate together across different departments including engineering, sales & marketing, digital media, and IT.
We would like to add an intern to our sales and marketing department who’s looking for an opportunity to gain experience in building client relationships within the local community. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to establish themselves professionally and build their network in this area.
You are usually described as self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, approach new tasks proactively and are not afraid to take on new challenges, especially those that involve speaking with other people.
This position will require you to call or visit restaurants, offices and local companies to offer our interior design services. At times, this may involve cold calling, preparing market research on companies and establishing meetings with interested clients. Sometimes you will be contacted by interested clients and are responsible for establishing client relationships and providing more information on our services.
Overall, your main role is to bring new projects to the company. A 10% commission is offered on all new sales. The position starts in September/October and requires a minimum of 5 weeks. There is the potential to work this position remotely.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or equivalent
• Swedish is not necessary but meritorious and extremely beneficial since local companies will mostly be contacted
• Experience in sales is preferred, although the right personality without experience will still be considered
